Here is my Tim Holtz mini album. I've named it Journey. It is just under 9" by 9". The cover was a lot of fun to make. I used many of his dies, paints, stains, alcohol inks, and various sprays. I completed it with some gears and spinners and one of his Curio knobs. I also used some of his fabric for the binding.
Here's a few of the first pages of the album. Throughout the album, I used mainly Tim Holtz and Ranger products, but there are a few laces and ribbons that I also included. I used the Collage 8" by 8" paper pad and black cardstock throughout. I used many of his dies, and lots of grunge paper. All distressing done in the album were with his distress inks. I used only his stamps on the tags in the book.
The photos in the book are from my family. I love the vintage photos of my grandparents and their ancestry. The tiny photos in the film strip above are from the paper line.
These two photos are of my parents when they were young. Aren't they cute!
These photos are my paternal and maternal grandparents. I love these photos because they are so young and having fun. You can also see that I used Tim's stencils on the tags too.
I'm teaching this mini album as a class at Scrap 2 It! on May 2nd and May 3rd. I'll share the rest of the pictures from the album later this week, so stay tuned. The mini album can be seen in the store.
Thanks for stopping by!
