Family day

Mom and I went to the Cheyenne base today for family day for Micah. It was really nice, but sure is windy and cold in Wyoming!! Ha!

Nebraska has another Heisman finalist!

Awesome! Ndamukong Suh, a defensive tackle, has been named as one of the 5 Heisman finalists, along with 2 running backs, and 2 quarterbacks. Even though the award is supposed to go to the best all around college football player, it has always gone to an offensive player (except once). So it's not often that a defensive player even gets nominated. Suh is just that awesome! I don't anticipate that he will win that award, but he will win several others before the week is over. He, and the rest of the NU defense, very nearly derailed the undefeated Texas team....except for one lousy second.

Kaitlyn's class at school has "adopted" a needy family. Kaitlyn spent her own money to buy all of this for the family for Christmas! I love her giving heart!! :)
